Mourinho Moves on From Coppa Success

The Coppa Italia is history for Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.

Less than 24 hours have passed since the Nerazzurri's 1-0 triumph over Roma in the Coppa final at the Stadio Olimpico and the Portuguese boss is telling his players to "move on".

"Our first dream has been realised," said Mourinho.

"I am satisfied not just for me but for the joy of the Inter fans. I can now say that I have won all the national cups in the teams I have coached in.

"We have already won it so we must move on.

"We have a final at the San Siro against Chievo and we have to forget immediately about the Coppa."

Mourinho has indeed found success at every stop in his career, whether it was in Portugal with FC Porto, in England with Chelsea and now in Italy with Inter.

Despite having led Inter to the club's fourth consecutive scudetto last season, the fans did not warm to the coach until late this campaign when they beat Barcelona at the San Siro 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

The victory over Barcelona also fuelled speculation that Real Madrid would attempt to lure Mourinho to the Bernabeu stadium this summer.

Mourinho is keeping his cards close to his chest about his intentions.

However, he knows that he is on the cusp of history after guiding the Italian giants to within touching distance of a magnificent treble.

They go into Sunday's penultimate weekend of Serie A two points clear of Roma.

Mourinho's team will be favoured to win the scudetto and the Champions League but he cares little for predictions.
